- tangolo mangos
Collaboration with North Eastern Brazilian band Tangolo Mangos, exploring the process, songs and comic stories throughout their first two EPs. The 36 page risograph publication plays with their surrealist lyrics with imagery and the name of the band which resembles to ‘tangled mangos’, using the mango fruit as a reference for shape exploration within the zine and the choice of colour in risograph. This project also includes a cassete tape and design from their recording ‘Live at Morareira 53’, with a flourescent orange body and blue vinyl cut for the type.
The publication is in both English and Portuguese, as an object for existing fans but also as an introduction to them for new audiences.
Cover printed with UV light. Archived and available to look through at the Stuart Hall Library in London.
