SOPA DESK

For over a year my kitchen table was my work space. I wanted a desk but I wasn’t finding one that would fullfil all my needs. I started sketching an idea considering my wall dimension and space for my vinyl collection and player that would not take space of the desk itself.
I came up with an S shape solution to provide more desk space for books, pencils and speakers, whilst still holding my collection and player as I would have nowhere else to put them other than this corner of my living room.
After checking the possibility of this project with local carpenters and making the necessary changes such as using L brackets for extra stability. I requested them to cut the scaffold wood into the dimensions. In my own living room I sanded it down and assembled the desk with the help of a friend. The desk has been in use for over nine months and I love my work space even more so because of it.
